Patients transport vehicle, in the Kabateguinda community

Ongoing Projects

Kabateguinda is a community in the Kedogou region that depends of the Tomboronkoto health system. It is located in a region of difficult access.

This community has a population of more than 700 people. A large number of people from neighbouring countries (quite often without identification) have also moved to the area to work in the gold mine industry, working in mines that often do not meet any safety standards.

The community also has a small clinic which, although with very limited resources, provides emergency care.

As we did in other communities before, our project is to provide Kabateguinda with a vehicle for the transportation of patients, since there is no four-wheeled vehicle available in many miles around, in order to allow transportation to nearby hospitals.
